Sports and Outdoor Camps – An Active, Sporty, and Francophone Summer for All Youth!
The Sports and Outdoor Camps offered by Sports en Français are much more than just a summer activity. Aimed at children aged 5 to 12, these camps offer a wide range of sports, physical, and recreational activities, with a focus on the French language. Organized in various Francophone communities across Manitoba, they aim to promote an active lifestyle while strengthening the participants’ identity and pride in their Francophone heritage. The goal is to promote physical health, develop sports skills, and foster team spirit, all while providing a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.sitif.
A New Addition This Year: Sports and Outdoor Camps for Teens (13-16 years)
or youth aged 13 to 16, we are offering a new, rich, and stimulating experience, featuring sports like Basketball, Soccer, and Lacrosse, followed by 3 hours of recreational activities to relax and build connections with other young people. These camps are designed to provide a dynamic Francophone experience, where teens can improve their skills in their favorite sport while having fun.
In a non-competitive setting, these camps encourage active participation, while respecting the principles of long-term athlete development and physical literacy. The program supports the personal and collective growth of young people, promoting the acquisition of healthy habits and physical fitness.
It also offers opportunities for expression in French, allowing children to live their culture while building friendships and social connections with other Francophone youth.

Our Activity Leader Team
All members of our activity leader team for this summer have the following checks, training, and certifications:
- Respect and Sport Training
- First Aid Certification
- Child Abuse Registry Check
- Criminal Record or Background Check (only for members aged 18 and older)
Some members of our activity leader team have also received training in:

- CPAWS-SNAP (Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society)

CSPA Registration – 13 to 16 years

Camp Schedule
- Arrival: 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
- Structured Activities: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Departure: 3:00 PM – 3:30 PM
A participant guide will be sent to participants with the relevant details for the Sports and Outdoor Camps.
DEADLINE
One week before the camp starts.
REFUND POLICY
Any withdrawal request must be made 10 business days before the camp start date for a refund minus a $50 fee.
Any withdrawal request made less than 10 business days in advance will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee.
Any withdrawal request made less than 5 business days in advance will receive a 50% credit of the registration fee, to be used for another Sports en Français program.
No refund or credit will be issued for withdrawal requests made less than 24 hours before the camp starts.
CANCELLATION
Sports en Français reserves the right to cancel a program or modify its schedule if the required number of participants is not reached, or due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancellation by Sports en Français, a full refund will be issued.
